Holly Snow Hollenbeck creates stunning, one of a kind homes known for their timeless sensibility brought to life by artfully blending vintage and modern touches.  Her firm, which she founded in 2002,  offers full service interior design and remodeling as well as, buying, building and curating vacation rentals including @brokenarrowchalet and @littleowlaframe.

We bonded over

Our love of art, Coup D’Etat, gold jewelry and A-frames.

The opportunity

As HSH’s business continued to expand, Hollenbeck felt the marketing collateral, website and social media was in need of a branding update that illustrated the impressive body of work and the caliber of design for which the firm is known.  Secoy was hired to create a marketing strategy and brand identity that included a deep dive analysis into the competitive landscape and best case recommendations.

The journey

Once we began work with Hollenbeck, we quickly realized how central her smart, savvy and chic persona and character are to the brand’s identity and we aimed to underscore this.   Not only does she have amazing style and an exquisite eye, she’s a natural born influencer and tastemaker. Our campaign launched with a lifestyle photoshoot in and around her historic Alamo Square home in the heart of SF, which inspired the brand story and vision.   We then created a fresh new web site with updated copy, all new photography (3 lifestyle photoshoots), a social media overhaul and a direct marketing campaign targeted at real estate agents, construction workers and architects.

Behind the scenes scoop

During our first photoshoot with Holly we learned that she has never, ever (in her entire life!) lost a pair of sunglasses and she has many pairs. Ok, this has nothing to do with marketing,  but something we continue to be fascinated and inspired by and had to share. Holly’s trick? She answered simply, “just put them back in the case they came in.”
